Amazingly simple product, easy to use, and fits any camera with the 1/4" tripod hole (which is like 99% of all consumer cameras not just the ones listed)

The sticky dash mount is not adhesive like I thought, its actually like a static cling that will hold it from sliding horizontally, but will hold nothing vertically.

I removed the static cling backing and replaced it with some 3M Outdoor Mounting Tape which can hold up to 5 pounds in any position. The base is semi-flexible so it can be mounted to concave or convex surfaces like helmets, or the inside of a mixing bowl, and of course flat surfaces.

I thought this product was supposed to be permanently affixed, but it can be removed and you can replace the clear plastic on the stick pad. I wonder how many times it can be used though, before it loses its adhesion.
